Corporate identity design was something I had little experience with when I took on this brief. I thought it would be a valuable addition to diversify my portfolio, so I decided to enter EOSC's competition.

This brief posed an interesting challenge to me; redesigning a logo for a company with a niche demographic.
My logo embraces the circular forms of the lowercase 'eosc' abbreviation, as well as the curved spine of the 's' letterform. The notion of data visualisation is subtly referenced with the motif of a pie chart.

Contemporary visual language breathes new life into the organisation, positioning EOSC as an established environment for innovative research. Flow and movement is evoked, combining logo with typography in a fluid rhythm.
An adaptive colour palette further enables versatility, allowing for smooth integration between brands and initiatives.
